BCC
member Jon Meyer has had three of his images have
been selected for a national juried show at the
Maryland Federation of Art in Annapolis from May
25 to June 17, 2012. The judge is affiliated
with the Corcoran College of Art and Design and
MICA. The three pieces are monochrome,
psychological studies of love over time, the
difference between fantasy and reality in self
image, and a triptych of the psychoanalysis of
grief and loss. The titles are “Tempus Fugit
– Amor Vincit Omnia,” “The Fantasy and the
Reality,” and “The Psychoanalysis of Grief and
Loss.” They will be at the Circle Gallery in
Annapolis, 18 State Circle, Annapolis 21401.

Atlanta at the Emory University Conference on
Creativity Through the Life Cycle. Jon's
presentation contained the before (fresh out of the camera)
and afters (worked on in Photoshop) of a number of
images which have won or placed at BCC monthly
competitions.
