Preparing Competition images for web Display
This document explains how to name and prepare competition winners for display on the Club web site and in the Image Event image Gallery.
PREPARING DIGITAL FILES
Please name each file prior to upload as per instructions below. This makes it easy for the BCC website to link to the uploaded images.
The size of the longest side of the image file should not exceed 800 pixels, and the resolution should not exceed 100 PPI.
Save files in .JPG format with quality setting of 90%. A moderate amount of sharpening should be applied, and slides should be carefully cleaned with a blower bulb. If your slide scanner has digital ice, or similar dust removal software, use it.
Make sure you have correctly named the files, and place them in a folder in your computer that you know you can find easily.
