Baltimore Camera Club is the oldest photographic society in the USA (incorporated 1884) and the Club meets every Thursday night at:

Mount Washington United Methodist Church
5800 Cottonworth Ave
Baltimore, MD 21209.

Meetings start at 7:30pm for socializing and Club business, and the program starts at 8:00pm prompt.

All are welcome to attend - it's free - however, only members may enter competitions, etc.

There are no qualifications for membership - absolute beginner to world-class expert, there will be something for you here.

Membership fees are due at the start of the Club year (September) and are currently (2006) $50.00 for individuals and $60.00 for families.

Activities include regular monthly print, slide and, new this year, projected Digital Image competitions, with categories for novice and unlimited, programs and lectures on the art and science of all aspects of photography, occasional outings to such places as Harpers Ferry or a night shoot at the Inner Harbor, and the odd expedition to faraway destinations (Zion National Park was the last)

BCC embraces all forms of the photographic process, from the latest in digital techniques, to Polaroid Transfers, to Daguerrotypes (if you have some, bring 'em in, we'd love to see them!)
